It has been a while since I have blogged about any adventures with my camera so out I went with my camera. Fighting a sinus infection or a viral infection since last Monday March 4th, I decided not to let this stop me from getting out this weekend. Spring has arrived and birds are singing their spring love song and are starting their nesting season. So I pumped myself up with drugs to make myself feel better and went out looking for birds to photograph. I went over to the Dam area at Winton Woods and picked an area off the beaten path and looked, listened and waited to see what birds were using the area and it was not long before I heard the songs o

f the Carolina wren and notice them foraging in the area and was able to capture a couple shots. Then I heard the song of the eastern bluebird and noticed they were possibly going nesting in a tree not far from where I was standing and I was right. I saw them going in on occasion and I was hopeful to get some great photographs and I did. I have taken so many pictures it will be hard to decide which one to keep and which ones to delete. I heard and saw may more birds but these bluebirds were so cooperative I had to spend most of my time on them. Anytime you get an animal that is cooperative get pictures while you can because they may not ever be like that again. Here are a few I really liked.
