After setting up my booth and pictures there was time to go out and get some pictures so my wife and I headed out to the state forest and drove until we heard a Rose-breasted Grosbeak, we found a place to pull over and I got my gear out and walked into an open woods and it wasn’t long and the male landed near by and I captured a few good shots.
I also heard and Ovenbird and finally got him down low enough to get a few shots of him too. The sun started going behind the clouds and then the mosquitoes started to bite me but before I quite shooting pictures I was able to capture this Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. As I was leaving I realized I had only been shooting and I got three great species.
